Refund & Cancellation Policy
La Nuit Pâtisserie creates tasting menus that are prepared slowly and offered for a single sitting. Each reservation secures ingredients, preparation time, and a place within a limited collection. For this reason, all reservations are subject to the policy below. This page outlines the bakery refund policy for Birmingham, applying to all La Nuit Pâtisserie collections.
Reservations
All reservations are confirmed at the time of booking.
Once a reservation has been placed, it cannot be cancelled, refunded, or transferred. This includes changes due to personal circumstances, scheduling conflicts, or travel disruption.
Each reservation is tied to a specific collection, date, and collection window.
No-Shows
If a reservation holder does not attend their scheduled collection window, the reservation will be considered forfeited.
No refunds, credits, replacements, or compensations will be issued for no-shows, regardless of reason.
We are unable to remake or hold collections beyond the stated time window.
Collection Window
Each tasting menu is prepared for collection within a clearly stated time window, shared at the time of booking.
Guests may arrive at any point within this window. Collections not collected within the stated time cannot be refunded, remade, or carried forward.
Responsibility for timely collection rests with the reservation holder.
Dietary Notes and Substitutions
Dietary notes may be shared at the time of booking for awareness only.
La Nuit Pâtisserie works with fixed recipes and complete menu compositions. We do not offer substitutions, alterations, or customised recipes.
All tasting menus contain eggs, and may contain additional allergens. By placing a reservation, you acknowledge and accept that the menu cannot be adapted.
If you have dietary requirements, allergies, or preferences that cannot accommodate eggs or other common ingredients, we kindly ask that you do not place a reservation.
Allergens and Food Safety
All tasting menus are prepared in an environment that handles common allergens, including but not limited to:
eggs
dairy
gluten
nuts
While care is taken in preparation, we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens.
Full ingredient lists are available upon request prior to booking.
Quality and Handling After Collection
Once a tasting menu has been collected, responsibility for storage, handling, and consumption passes to the guest.
La Nuit Pâtisserie cannot accept responsibility for issues arising from:
delayed consumption
improper storage
transport after collection
Changes to a Collection
In rare circumstances, minor adjustments to a menu may be necessary due to ingredient availability or quality. Any such changes will be made with care and will not alter the overall intent of the collection.
Exceptional Circumstances
In the unlikely event that La Nuit Pâtisserie is unable to fulfil a collection due to circumstances beyond our control (such as serious illness or events that make preparation impossible), guests will be contacted and offered an appropriate resolution.
This may include a refund or alternative arrangement, at our discretion.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
